Dear St. Francis Families and Friends,
On behalf of the Salesian faculty and staff of St. Francis we wish you a Happy Easter! Though Lent is done, we still encourage you to prioritize your family and Christian values and keep Christ at the center of all you do.

For many, this April-May season is a time for celebrating first communions, confirmations, Mother’s Day, and Graduations. There is anxiety and excitement about moving on to the 9th grade or graduating and moving off to college; there is also excitement and anxiety to do well in class, on AP tests, and on the May 4th SAT. For athletes, it is a time to PR in track and swimming or shoot your lowest score in golf; or, even hit a homerun in softball or baseball. I can also share that Mr. Dewig and his cast and crew presented three remarkable performances of the “The Drowsy Chaperone” this last weekend – April 11th - 13th. All three nights were at capacity and all of us were again impressed with our students and Mr. Dewig. Thank you to the students and parents who are part of the VAPA Booster’s team, as well as Mrs. Nicole Dewig for managing a great event. Together you helped with the setup, take down, selling of food, collecting rice bowl donations, and basically ensured all had a great experience.
Included in this newsletter is an update on the capital campaign as well as a preview of successes and events to close out the year. We are also including a 2019-2020 Key Calendar of dates to plan your next school years start days, holidays, and events.
Yours in Christ,
Mr. Pat Lee
