From the Associate Principal

Dear St. Francis Families,

The end of the school year and therefore final exams are approaching quickly!  There are 14 school days remaining in the semester. Because SF uses a modified block schedule, that means there are only 8 more days of each individual class.

While I know we all want to enjoy Easter Break, please help make sure your student begins to look ahead...not to summer just yet, but to finals.  Spending time to review the quizzes and tests and ensuring the content has been learned is tremendously helpful.

AWARDS ASSEMBLY - Thursday, May 16th at 1:00 PM, Borina Athletic Center

The Awards Assembly is time to recognize and celebrate the academic achievements of St. Francis High School students.  Academic departments in conjunction with the St. Francis Administration will identify and celebrate the top student in each course offered at St. Francis. While grades certainly play a factor in these awards, they are not the only determining criteria. Students are also chosen based on their contributions to the classroom, their promotion of the learning environment, and their overall exemplification of the spirit of St. John Bosco.

We will also announce Class of 2019 awards including: Senior Career Achievement awards, Valedictorian, the Sr. Laura Goedken Award, the Dominic Savio Award, and other scholarships and honors during this assembly.

Parents of award recipients will be notified prior to the event.  All parents are welcome to attend. Seating will be somewhat limited for this event and we ask parents and other family members to sit in the bleacher section closest to the doors of the BAC.

The attire for this day will be communicated separately.

ONLINE CLASS END DATE - Thursday, May 17th
