Building on our mission and vision, St. Francis remains a place where students can strive for excellence in academics, athletics, arts, service, and leadership. State-of-the art resources and facilities are vital to building St. Francis High School’s legacy for students – both today and for future generations. Through this VISION capital campaign, we will maintain, modernize, and expand our buildings, sports facilities and services to meet the needs of our educational community.
I am excited to provide you with an update on our VISION Capital Campaign to add a Counseling Center/Administration Building as well as renovate the Stadium with turf, bleachers, and lines for football/soccer/women’s lacrosse. This update is coming as a result of a few parents questions from the recent parent survey.
To date we have collected money and pledges in the amount of $3,450,000 for the $6,100,000 capital project. This collected and pledged amount includes a $500,000 matching grant from the Mary Stuart Rogers CEO, Mr. John Rogers. We will receive it when we match the amount with new donations. We are ¾’s of the way to fulfilling the matching grant for the stadium.
Approximately 75 donors/foundations have joined this effort to build our new facilities. We are gratified for the very generous support already shown. Thank you to everyone who has pledged or given to see the Counseling Center/Administration building and field renovation get completed. We just mailed home a reminder to those who have not donated to the capital campaign this year.
You can help us reach our final campaign goal!! If you have not already done so, please consider making a contribution to the St. Francis High School VISION Capital Campaign by going to www.stfrancishigh.net/vision/ or contacting Mr. Patrick Lee at [email protected]. Your gift will count towards the class challenge for a day of free dress and a free lunch!
We again express our gratitude for your support of St. Francis High School. To start construction this fall we need everyone to donate. No donation is too small and every dollar counts to fulfilling the matching pledge and completing the project.
