From the Athletic Director

We’d like to give a big thank you to all the families who signed up as football and volleyball gate and concession volunteers. Thank you to those who’ve helped put on two successful volleyball events with our JV Jamboree and Varsity CCS Sportsmanship Match. For this coming football season, we will need some more volunteers for concessions. Thank you so much to the Vazquez family for taking on the leadership role in this area for our school! Under Coach Ramona Young, Cross Country will open PCAL play on September 19th with the meet scheduled for Christmas Hill Park in Gilroy. However, the location of this meet may change, so please feel free to contact Coach Ramona Young or Athletic Director, Adam Hazel, as we get closer to the first PCAL meet.

 

Our football and cheer teams under Coach John Ausman and Amanda Martinez just competed in the 2nd Annual Apple City Jamboree at Watsonville High School. They will play their first game on Thursday, August 29th at Watsonville HS vs King City. The Sharks will open up PCAL play on Friday, September 27th at Pacific Grove.

 

Under Coach Guy Putnins, our volleyball team just competed in their PCAL Jamborees. Varsity competed in a CCS sportsmanship match that raises money for scholarships for student/athletes throughout the CCS. They will open PCAL play on Wednesday, September 11th vs Anzar.

 

Our girl's tennis team, under Coach Jacqueline Fryn, is about to open the season on Tuesday, September 3rd at Scotts Valley. They play Thursday, September 5th at Watsonville, and open PCAL play on Tuesday, September 10th vs Christopher.

 

We are selling tickets for the Atlanta Falcons at San Francisco 49ers on Sunday, December 15th. Tickets for section 406 are $50 each and tickets in section 204 at $75 each. Come out and support Ty Sambrailo as he now plays for the Atlanta Falcons! Tickets are sold at the Main Office.
