Dear St. Francis Families,
Welcome Home, Sharks! Each year our Rector Major picks a theme, or strenna, to unite all the Salesian schools, churches, camps, and youth groups throughout the world. This year’s theme is “Good Christian and Upright Citizens”. St. Francis is going to animate this theme by focusing on “Faith, Family, and Service”. We will be introducing this theme and kicking it off during our Triduum.

Grandparents Mass
Friday, September 6th
We are excited to welcome our Grandparents and Grandfriends to campus at 10:00 am for light refreshments and all are welcome to join us for mass at 11:00 a.m. in the BAC.
Triduum
At the beginning of each new school year, Bosco would have Triduum; a three-day event where students prepare their body, mind, and soul for the coming school year. He would give them a theme to help focus them. He would remind them that they are kids who need to learn, who need to play and be together in community, and who need to grow their relationship with God.
We continue this tradition with our own Triduum: September 18-20.
Sept. 18th Kick-off
We will have a speaker welcoming us into the 2019-2020 school year and introducing our school theme of FAITH.FAMILY.SERVICE.
Sept. 19 Reconciliation
We will have a priest on campus throughout the day for students to have an opportunity to receive the sacrament of reconciliation; to reconcile their conscience and start the new school year with a cleansed soul.
Sept. 20 Bosco Fun Day
Sharks will host 800 elementary and middle school students who are visiting our campus for a FUN DAY. This is a great day celebrating being a family and community.
Breast Cancer Awareness Polo
Campus Ministry is selling Shark cancer awareness polos that students can wear as part of the daily uniform. Click on the link below to see the logo and place your order. Orders must be received by Friday, Sept. 6th.
