The Sophomore retreat is a day of Community Service. Students come to school at the regular time and report to the Gym. We will depart from school at 8:30am and head to our different work sites. Students will work at their sites from 9:00am-noon. At noon, students return to campus for lunch and will be given time to reflect on their experiences from the day. The day concludes with a mass at 1:30 pm.
Students should wear Shark-wear on this day. Please bring a sweatshirt, as many sites are outside and could be cold in the morning. Also, please wear tennis shoes. I recommend wearing a hat and bringing a water bottle.
Some of the students will be transported to the service sites with our SFHS vans, but I am in need of additional parent drivers and chaperones. Please let Ms. McLeod know ASAP if you are able to drive: [email protected]. This is a fun way to earn service hours!
