Summer Athletic Workout Information

Below is the information regarding the summer workout program for student-athletes.  Please remember that all student-athletes must also have on file a valid physical as well as the Athletic Participation Regulations Form. No student-athlete will be able to participate in practices or games, including summer workouts and open gyms, unless they have turned in both of these items to the Main Office. Football 

June 2013
June 10-27: Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 4:30-6:00pm for 10th, 11th, and 12th graders
June 13, 17, 20, 24, and 27 from 6:00-7:00pm for incoming 9th graders
June 19: Watsonville High School 7-on-7 from 5:30-7:00pm  
June 21-22: Overnight Camp at Harker High School in San Jose. Please contact Coach Hazel for more details. Incoming freshmen are welcome to participate.

July 2013
July 8-31: Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 4:30-6:00pm for grades 10th-12th
July 10: Monte Vista Christian High School 7-on-7 from 5:30-7:00pm
July 17: Soquel High School 7-on-7 from 5:30-7pm
July 24: Monte Vista Christian High School 7-on-7 from 5:30-7:00pm
July 22-26: St. Francis Youth Football Camp for ages 7-14 at St. Francis. 9:00am - 12:00pm each day. Incoming freshmen are more than welcome to participate.

Cross Country

If you are looking to get to the next level in cross-country, summer base running is a  necessary component   Summer training include the beach Wharf To Wharf, Nisene Marks, Pinto Lake, and running camp at Mt. Madonna.  Summer training begins on June 17 at St. Francis at 8:15am. The team works out on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays during the summer months. Volleyball

Volleyball open gyms will be Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 4:00-6:00pm from July 8 - August 2.  All returning players, new players, and incoming freshmen are welcome to attend.  There will be no workouts from August 5-10, and tryouts for the three teams will be on August 16, 19, and 20.

Tennis

Tennis practice begins on August 15 at 3:30pm at the Imperial Courts Tennis Club in Aptos. Tennis practices at Imperial are held Monday-Friday at 3:30pm, with Fridays being optional.  Any returning or new players are welcome to come and join the team  If you are interested in working out during the summer, the St. Francis tennis coaches also run a summer camp for tennis players ages 5-18. Women's Basketball

Women's basketball will be holding open gyms/practices this summer as well as participating in a summer league, and both are open to all new and returning players. Open gyms/practices are at St. Francis on Mondays and Wednesdays from 4:00-6:00pm from June 10 to July 5 and are open to everyone. The summer league is Tuesdays and Thursdays, which Coach Braga will inform all players about who come to the practices. For more information, please call Coach Randy Braga at (831) 345-6857.

Cheer and Dance

Are you looking to be involved with school spirit  with next year? The cheer and dance teams are looking for you! Cheer/Dance team tryouts will be on July 10, 11, and 12 at St. Francis from 10:00am-12:00pm.
