Since 2001, the partnership between the Diocese of Monterey, the Salesians, and the St. Francis community has empowered young women and men to be successful in the classroom, on the court and field, and in the community. Students graduate from St. Francis, a Salesian College Preparatory High School, as confident and dynamic young women and men of character who are ready to lead. Guided by St. John Bosco’s preventive system of reason, religion, and loving kindness, students are provided with the foundation for life-long learning. St. Francis is committed to rigor, relevance, and results; consequently, performing arts, athletics, and extra-curricular offerings enhance the overall learning experience as we successfully integrate a 1-to-1 iPad program with rich blended and traditional live learning opportunities.
Besides expanding offerings to match the already demonstrated academic excellence, we are committed to growth. Every qualified student should have a chance to experience St. Francis. To enable families to send their children to St. Francis, we need your support. Our annual tuition covers approximately 86% of the actual cost of educating each student. The gap needs to be filled by the generous support of businesses and people like you.
One recognizable way to bridge the gap is through your generous support of the St. Francis Spring Festival. The Spring Festival will take place on Saturday, April 5, 2014. This year’s Spring Festival will include live entertainment, a silent auction, a raffle, games and attractions for all ages, and the locally famous barbecued chicken and ravioli dinner.
This event connects the local community with the St. Francis High School community; as a result, we can continue to keep the cost of a Catholic education within the reach of local families.
