St. Francis participated in the annual Wharf to Wharf run in Santa Cruz. The cross country and track teams volunteered again this year and helped along the course from Santa Cruz to Capitola. In addition to volunteering, the Sharks ran well in the race. Sophomore Braxton Rico ran a personal record at 37:02; incoming Freshman James Young placed 2nd in his first six miler and placed 2nd in his age group; and alum Michael Young finished 33rd overall with a time of 32:16.
