The Sharks tennis team enjoyed a 5-2 win over Aptos yesterday. Caroline and Claire Casper started with the first two wins over Aptos in number one and two singles. Jane Salady and Miranda Janisch won at second doubles 7-6, 6-4 and Sidney Gerami was the deciding win for the team at number 4 singles winning in a grueling two hour, three set victory, 6-3, 6-7, 6-2. Our fifth win came from the number three doubles team of Erica Leung and Rachael Boxwell winning in sets 6-2, 3-6 and 10-7 in the 3rd set tiebreaker. St Francis varsity is now 2-0 in SCCAL and 5-1 overall.
