It's time to apply for a Personal Identification Number (PIN) in preparation of filing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) in January. The PIN is used to submit important documents on-line.
Go to www.fafsa.ed.gov (FAFSA home page) and use the tab labeled PIN at the top of the page to apply. Remember each student and 1 parent need to have a PIN to file the FAFSA
Parents who already have a PIN from a previous filing should use the one they have.
