Service Hours
Reminder students are required to complete 20 hours of service each year as a Shark. Freshman services hours begin calculating their first day as a SF Shark so hours this summer won’t count if you are an incoming freshman, but all you returning Sharks get out and serve your community.
All hours are up to date on Ren Web. Seniors check your hours now so you can use the summer months to get caught up if needed. You should have at least 60 hours completed.
Teen Kitchen Project is now located in Watsonville at 412 Riverside Drive. They are in need of youth volunteers July 14-August 11, every Thursday from 12-5:00pm. Check out their website for more information and to sign up.
Sharks Serving in Idaho
We had eight students travel with the Diocese of Monterey to Lapwai Idaho to provide labor service to members of the Nimiipuu Tribe. Our students build a playground at a children’s shelter, build food smoke houses at the elder community center where they can smoke their meat and fish, and they helped demolish an elder’s house that had become unlivable and dangerous. Welcome home Sharks and thanks for your service!
Prayers
Class of 2016 Alumni Sergey Dubeau was in an accident and suffered a traumatic brain injury. He has been blessed with many talented doctors and is getting stronger every day. We pray for God to continue to hold Sergey and his family in His arms of comfort and healing and we pray for the continued wisdom and judgment of the doctors and medical providers. Please keep Sergey in your prayers.
