Parents and Host Families,
During the first block of the day (3rd period), some students in Mr. Castellon's Honors Biology class were stung by yellow jackets as they were participating in an outdoor classroom activity. Administrators were notified and immediately those affected were moved to the office and gym and were provided with minor treatment. The area containing the wasps has been quarantined and wasp mitigation has been conducted. The area will be taped off the rest of the day and students will not be allowed in that area to ensure safety moving forward.
