Your St. Francis Sharks beat the Harbor Pirates 45-0 on Saturday at Harbor High School. The Sharks opened up the scoring on the first drive of the game as Ivo Lasich caught a touchdown pass from Derric Estrada-Haro. The next touchdown came on the defensive side of the ball as Joseph Kovacs intercepted a Harbor pass and returned it for a touchdown. In the 2nd half the Sharks broke the game open with Estrada-Haro throwing touchdown passes to James Young and Nathan Lee. Carson Cuzick and Justin Parker added rushing touchdowns and Josh Kovacs returned an interception for a touchdown in the 4th quarter. The defense led by Josh Kovacs, Richie Martinez and Zach Estrada held the Pirates scoreless for their second consecutive shutout.
The Sharks next take the field Friday night September 30th at Soquel High School. JV kickoff at 5 pm and varsity kickoff at 7:30 pm. Go Sharks!
