Our ladies have been busy! The Sharks won against the Hawks (Mt. Madonna) 3-2 on September 15. Our St. John Bosco Invitational volleyball tournament had the Sharks in the BAC at 7am preparing for visiting Stevenson, North Monterey County and York schools on September 17. With only one court in play, the tournament was quite enjoyable for all involved. The Sharks finished 2nd, just behind Stevenson. On Tuesday, September 20, the Sharks lost against the Falcons (Scotts Valley) 1-3. Last Thursday, the Sharks did not play to their potential and lost to the Cardinals (Santa Cruz) 0-3. However, our awesome ladies rallied back with a never-say-die attitude and took 5th at the Mt. Madonna eight-team tournament this last Saturday! The 5th place match was run with a 6-2 which led to the victory against PCS.
League play continues tomorrow, September 27 against SLV Cougars at the BAC. JV begins at 5:00 pm, Varsity at 7:30 pm. Tuesday’s game will be available for viewing at http://thecube.com/e/674540. Sharks are 5-6 overall, 1-5 in league.
