Sharks Cross Country Gets Ready for SCCAL League Meet

Your St. Francis boys and girls Cross Country teams are looking to have great showings in the upcoming SCCAL meet.
 
The  St. Francis boy's and girl's cross country teams wrapped up competition at a quad meet against Harbor, Mt. Madonna & San Lorenzo Valley at SLV High School last week. 

 

The girls & boy's team earned  two first-place finish against Harbor & Mt. Madonna while  the Sharks were tripped up by SLV.

In the girl's 3-miler Riley Croghan tallied a top-10 performance of the season, ticking in at 21:58 to take 7th. Olivia Burke finished 11th overall at 22:46 while Cami Ryan came in 12th at 22:48.    Mercedes Cervantes followed three spots later at 23:46Angelika Castro claimed 17th at 23:59 & Natalie Henn 25:59-21st to round out the women's squad.

Sophomore, EJ Jelly V led the boy's team with a 2nd place-16:16, senior Braxton Rico & Paul Kane tabbed 8th & 9th place-17:16, the No. 16th spot was sophomore, Jose Angel Perez in 19:28, followed by senior, Nathaniel Ramos 19th-20:06, freshmen Roderick Howe & junior David Talavera both in 20:18 to round out the Sharks top seven finishers.
