Congratulations to the St. Francis Men's Basketball team for their 64-51 win over Bentley Tuesday night at the Borina Athletic Center. As usual for the Sharks it was a different man leading the way each night. Tonight it was Senior Ruben Ibarra's night as he led the Sharks with 23 points down in the post for the Sharks. Fellow Senior Dominic Figueroa had 12 points on the night with most of them coming on fast breaks. Chase Watkins poured in 11 points, but also guarded the best player on Bentley all night holding him in check. Jason Gallo had 9 points, Sandor Rene Rodriguez had 5 and Ivo Lasich came off the bench with 4 points, but a critical basket to help the Sharks take the lead at halftime.
The Sharks will host Elliot Christian in the Nor Cal Final, which is also the State Semi-Final on Saturday March 18th at 6 pm in the Borina Athletic Center on the campus of St. Francis High School. Come out and support your Sharks!
