Congratulations to the St. Francis baseball team for their 2-0 win over San Benito. Andrew Cinadro pitched a complete game shutout. Catcher Derric Estrada-Haro hit a home run to give the Sharks their first run. Later on Richie Martinez got a hit, then moved his way around the bases when David Talavera III hit a sacrifice fly to bring in Martinez to put the lead at 2-0. Ciandro then closed the door with some great work by the defense behind him.
Ciandro pitched his 2nd consecutive complete game shut out as the Sharks beat SLV 3-0 last week. Last Friday the Sharks beat Aloha of Oregon 5-0 with a complete game shutout combined from Ruben Ibarra, Chase Watkins and Joseph Kovacs.
The Sharks take the field tomorrow at Gilroy High School at 4 pm. Come out and support your Sharks!
