Congratulations to the Varsity Boys Baseball team for their 8-2 victory over Pacific Grove yesterday. Richie Martinez III and Tanner Putnins teamed up to pitch for the Sharks only giving up 2 runs. Offensively Ruben Ibarra and Andrew Ciandro provided the fireworks each hitting a home run.
The JV baseball team beat Pacific Grove 15-4 in 5 innings as Bobby Rigor pitched a complete game. The bats were hot as Andrew Seymour, CJ Gomez, Abel Martinez, Johnny Ceballos, Mark Robinson, Aaron Soto and Sean Farley all had RBI's on the day.
Softball gave a great effort vs. Santa Cruz as the final was 6-4 in favor of Santa Cruz. Anna Noto hit the ball well as did Lena Ciandro, Shelby Velasco and Alyssa Soto. Miranda Janisch pitched a complete game for the Sharks.
Varsity Baseball hosts Monte Vista Christian Thursday with an away game for the JV team. Softball next plays Thursday at Aptos. Go Sharks!
