Handbook Changes: Changes were made to the Student-Family Handbook for the upcoming school year, and it is highly recommended that students and parents pay close attention to Chapter 8 which details dress code and grooming. Significant changes were made to the required attire for regular daily uniforms. Those changes are as follows:
 • Men: Short-sleeve or long-sleeve polo shirt: maroon, black, grey, or white with block SF. Khaki pants, or shorts
 • Women:Short-sleeve or long-sleeve polo shirt: maroon, black, grey, or white with
block SF. Khaki pants, capris, or walking shorts.

Student Planner: In order to continue to support our students in the area of student life, St. Francis Student Planners will be issued to incoming freshmen, transfer students, international students, and students with a GPA of 2.0 and under. The student planner will include weekly and monthly calendar pages. It will also include sections outlining the school’s:
 • Mission, Philosophy, and Governance
 • Key Calendar
 • Frequently Asked Questions
 • Student Life components in English, Chinese, and Spanish
 • Quick Reference to the Student-Family Handbook

As mentioned before, I am here to serve all St. Francis High School students, parents, faculty, and, staff. I look forward to working with all community members to create a purposeful and enjoyable learning experience for all students in the upcoming school year.
