From the Assistant Principal of Academics

Dear St. Francis Families,

Report Cards - Second semester report cards along with associated academic related documents were printed and mailed home on Monday, June 5th. Report cards also remain available for review on RenWeb. To view the report card on RenWeb:

Go to Student Information > Report Card. (You may print your student's report card from here, if you would like an additional copy.)

Student Schedules for 2017-2018 - Student schedules for next year remain available for viewing on RenWeb. Please note that there are some items missing from schedules at this point (e.g., 2017-2018 locker numbers, and some teacher assignments are not finalized). If you have any questions regarding student schedules, please contact me as soon as possible. The deadline for petitioning for Honors and/or AP classes has passed.

Book List and Summer Reading - The book list and summer reading list are available on the school website and also through these links:

2017 Summer Reading

Parents and students are encouraged to obtain books from students moving on to the next grade or from affordable book sellers. It is crucial however that purchased books match the ISBN number listed on the booklist. For those families that prefer "one stop shopping," our online book provider ESCO will have books available for purchase beginning in July.

I would like to thank all of the wonderful parents and students that I have had the opportunity to work with over the past 15 years at St. Francis! I will be moving on to teach Biology at another school next year. This was certainly a difficult decision to make for me and my family, but one that unfortunately had to happen. I have enjoyed my past 3 years in administration and hope to return to that role in secondary education when the right opportunity presents itself. I will be here through the end of June and returning for 2 days in July to help with the transition for the next Assistant Principal.

If you have any questions regarding any academic issues, please feel free to contact me at [email protected] or (831) 724-5933 x203.

Sincerely,
David M Cmaylo
Assistant Principal of Academics
