Sharks Football Beats CSD 47-0

Congratulations to the St. Francis varsity football team on their 47-0 win over California School for the Deaf (CSD). Last fall CSD beat St. Francis 49-29 on their way to the North Coast Section Quarterfinals. The Sharks offense started clicking early as Carson Cuzick scored on a 2 play drive to make the score 7-0 and then Andy O' Rourke scored the first of his two touchdowns on a 3 play drive to make the score 14-0.

Other Sharks who scored on the day were Devin McLeod, Derric Estrada-Haro and Aaron Soto.

The Sharks are now 2-0 on the season and this week the football and cheer teams will travel to Oregon to face La Salle High School for Hazel Bowl 2 where Aaron, the older brother of St. Francis Athletic Director Adam Hazel is the Head Coach for La Salle. The Sharks the week after that will be at Pacific Grove on September 15th. Go Sharks!
