Congratulations to the St. Francis men's basketball team on their 2nd place finish in the Gilroy Tournament over the weekend. The Sharks first round win was over Oak Grove 55-42 where Jason Gallo, Andrew Seymour and EJ Kelly led the way. The 2nd round game was a come from behind 49-46 win over Christopher where the Sharks were down 16 at one point. Gallo led the way with 22 points, Seymour had 12 and Joseph Ramirez had 11. In the game Kelly held Christopher's leading scorer scoreless in the 2nd half. The Sharks fell to Aptos 44-34 in the final with Gallo leading the way with 13 points and Kelly with 9 on the night.
The Sharks next host King City tomorrow night with the varsity tip at 7 pm in the Borina Athletic Center. Come out and support your Sharks!
