From the Athletic Director

Dear St. Francis Families,

We look forward to seeing all basketball, soccer, wrestling and cheer student athletes and families this Sunday March 4th at 5 pm in the Borina Athletic Center for our winter sports banquet. We look forward to celebrating all your hard work.

Mr. Lee and Ms. Silva will send invitations to student-athletes for the Breakfast of Champions on March 21st. Varsity athletes with a 3.0 GPA or better will be treated to a breakfast served by the administrators. Students will be recognized with a certificate of achievement and a patch for their letterman jacket. The invitations go out to student athletes of any grade level who played a varsity sport spring of 2017 to winter of 2018. We follow the state CIF criteria for scholar-athlete recognition.

The link below is where you can download the form to buy tickets to our Luau on April 21st at St. Francis High School and sign up for our Golf Tournament on June 1st at Spring Hills. You can also sponsor the event to support St. Francis athletics.

The Sharks came up just short in the CCS Semi-Finals against the #1 seated Woodside Priory.

Congratulations to the men's basketball team for an outstanding season. The boys beat Nueva in the quarter-finals in a thrilling overtime 54-53 win. The Sharks finished their (20-7) season in a triple overtime battle in the CCS semi-final against perennial CCS rival - Pinewood. Over the last four years, our varsity team has won 92 games.

Thank you to our cheer squad for your support all season at our home basketball games!

Women’s soccer finished their season 9-9-1 and just short of the playoffs. Riley Croghan set a school record with 16 goals during the season. The Sharks also set a school record for wins in a season and look for more success when the 2018-19 season comes.

Men’s soccer finished their season early with the highlights including a win over Trinity Christian and a tie vs. York. The Sharks will have a team in 2018-19 that competes in the new PCAL.
