Congratulations to the St. Francis baseball team on their 4th win a row as they beat Gilroy 7-4. Chase Watkins pitched 6 innings, gave up only 2 hits and struck out 10 batters for the win. Derric Estrada-Haro got the save as he pitched the 7th and struck out 2.
At the plate for the Sharks Julian Mendoza had the hot bat going 2 for 3 with a triple and 2 RBI. Blaise Magana was 3 for 3 with an RBI and a run scored. Estrada-Haro went 1 for 3 with a double, run scored and 2 RBI. The Sharks game vs. San Benito High School has been postponed to April 18th at San Benito HS at 4 pm for both JV and varsity. Weather permitting the Sharks host North Salinas on Monday April 9th at 4 pm. Go Sharks!
