Your St. Francis Track & Field team had a great showing at the Bill Kearney Meet at Hartnell College in Salinas on Saturday.
Samanta Bellucci, senior garnished the first medal for the Sharks with a 33' 4.5" leap in the Triple Jump. Her best ever which resets her previous school record. Bellucci came back in the High Jump for the gold with a 4' 10" mark.
Chloe Deleissegues captured two silver medals, one in the 400m- 61.13, which resets her previous school record of 61.52 and a second place in the 200m-27.11 which keeps her in the ballpark of her lifetime best.
Cami Ryan medaled in the 3200m good for 4th place. Natalie Henn had a lifetime best 1600m with a 6:33.04. Olivia Burke placed 11th in rage 800m with a 2:50.03. The girls team placed 12th out of 30 schools.
Junior, Justin Parker clocked a 11.87-10th in the 100m and 23.47 in the 200m. James Young placed 11th in 2:12.31. The Sharks will be back on the Track Thursday, April 26th at Soquel High School. Go Sharks!
