AWARDS ASSEMBLY - Thursday, May 17th at 1:00 PM, Borina Athletic Center
The Awards Assembly is time to recognize and celebrate the academic achievements of St. Francis High School students. Academic departments in conjunction with the St. Francis Administration will identify and celebrate the top student in each course offered at St. Francis. While grades certainly play a factor in these awards, they are not the only determining criteria. Students are also chosen based on their contributions to the classroom, their promotion of the learning environment, and their overall exemplification of the spirit of St. John Bosco.
We will also announce Class of 2018 awards including: Senior Career Achievement awards, Valedictorian, the Sr. Laura Goedken Award, the Dominic Savio Award, and other scholarships and honors during this assembly.
Parents of award recipients will be notified prior to the event. All parents are welcome to attend. Seating will be somewhat limited for this event and we ask parents and other family members to sit in the bleacher section closest to the doors of the BAC.
The attire for this day will be communicated separately.
