Congratulations to your St. Francis softball team on their 4-1 win over Aptos. The Sharks struck first going up 1-0 in the first inning and then the game was tight until the 7th inning when the Sharks broke it open with 3 runs. Anna Noto led the Sharks with 3 hits and 2 RBI on the day and Grace Kovacs had two hits and 1 RBI.
For the Sharks Shelby Velasco once again pitched a complete game as she struck out 8 batters and had a WHIP of 0.71.
The Sharks are now 13-10 overall on the season and 7-4 in SCCAL play with hopes of making it to the CCS playoffs. Sharks senior day will be Thursday as they host Harbor. Come out and support your Sharks!
