Congratulations to your St. Francis football team on their 28-10 win over Harker on Friday night. The Sharks first touchdown came from a 49 yard run by Andrew Seymour in the 2nd quarter. Harker hit a 38 yard field goal to put the score at 7-3 going into half time. The Sharks defense held strong in the first quarter stopping a long Harker dive at the 1 yard line.
In the 2nd half the Sharks marched down the field as Joseph Ramirez ran in a touchdown for 6 yards. Ramirez then had an interception on defense setting up a drive that would finish with an Andy O' Rourke 40 yard TD run. Then a Seymour interception that was returned 45 yards set up an Abel Martinez 5 yard touchdown run.
Defensively the Sharks front held touch all night as O' Rourke, Lawson Orradre, Diego Ramirez, Johnny Ceballos and Isaac Davila put pressure on the Harker QB all night.
The Sharks have a bye next week and play at King City on September 28th. Come down and support your Sharks.
