Congratulations to both St. Francis basketball teams on their quarterfinal wins in the CCS playoffs. The girls started the night with a 59-26 win over Pacific Bay Christian and then the boys won 73-36 over Mt. View Academy.
For the girls leading the way was Grace Kovacs on both ends of the floor as she had 17 points and played exceptional defense. Janessa Yniguez scored 18 points on the night and Tanya Gallo poured in 10 points. The boys team opened up a 24-6 lead in the first quarter and never looked back.
The girls team will take on Notre Dame Salinason Thursday at a location TBD. The boys team will take on Nueva the same day also at a location TBD. Go Sharks!
